Leading casino games developer, Net Entertainment, has released the second game in their Fairytale Legends slots trilogy. Hansel and Gretel went live at NetEnt casinos on April 24.

The 5 reel, 3 row and 10 payline video slot game is based on the popular fairytale characters of Hansel and Gretel. The game follows them into the wood where they try to make their way through the dense thicket to find their way home, while keeping away from the wicked witch. In keeping with the theme, the game symbols include a range of colourful sweets and chests hiding prizes.

The game has impressive graphics and animations, bringing the story to life, while offering a range of bonus features for extra ways to win. Players can make the most of wild symbols, stacked wild re-spins, instant cash prizes, the Candy House bonus game with up to 120x multipliers and a free spins bonus round with 10 free spins. Fairies that appear along the way can randomly trigger the Fairy Wonder Spin, Fairy Surprise or Fairy Wild Spin.

“The latest chapter in our Fairytale Legends series is another enchanting one,” commented Simon Hammon, chief product officer at NetEnt. “With its engaging features and breath-taking design, the game demonstrates NetEnt’s creative capabilities at their best. Hansel and Gretel is a fantastic follow-up to Red Riding Hood and we look forward to continuing the story later in the year – so watch this space.”

The first game in the trilogy was Red Riding Hood which was launched in October 2016 and proved a popular addition to the NetEnt games portfolio. Hansel and Gretel has a similar design to the original game in the series. The final game in the trilogy is expected to be released later this year.
