Online lottery betting company, Multilotto, has been granted a Remote Gaming License from the Republic of Ireland National Excise License Office, allowing it to launch its services in Ireland. The ‘luck of the Irish’ will be put to the test as Irish lottery players now gain access to a wider range of International jackpots.

This license will allow Multilotto to continue its expansion into international markets, after having focused primarily on Sweden and the Nordic markets since its launch in 2012. The Irish site will be launched at www.multilotto.ie and will offer customers a range of International lottery jackpots through a user-friendly and simple website. There will be eleven different lottery jackpots available, including Europe’s two major jackpots EuroMillions and EuroJackpots and the United States’ popular Powerball and Mega Millions games, alongside Bono Loto, Mega Sena and others.

“Multilotto.ie is the choice for customers who want an accessible and simple way of playing lotteries from around the world and we’re very pleased to bring this exciting offering to the Irish market,” announced Thomas Biro, chief executive of Multilotto.

“Our business model is well established in the Nordic region and we believe that Irish customers will be equally attracted to our offering.”

“2017 is proving to be a big year for us and we look forward to making several more major announcements in the coming months.”

The announcement of the new Irish license comes soon after the granting of a Class 1 and 4 Remote Gaming License by the Malta Gaming Authority last month. Also last month, the company appointed Natalie Harrison as chief marketing officer, enticing her over from rival Lottoland where she held the positions of head of marketing operations and head of commercial operations.
